21/05/2009: Embassy of the Philippines in Washington, D.C. Conducts Staff Development Program
21 MAY 2009, WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Embassy of the Philippines in Washington, D.C. launched its Staff Development Program in an effort to continuously upgrade the knowledge and skills of its staff.
“The series of sessions are held at the premises of the Embassy during lunch breaks to facilitate skills development in a more relaxed atmosphere and promote a deeper sense of relationship and camaraderie among our personnel,” Philippine Ambassador to the United States Willy C. Gaa said.
The Administrative Section, headed by First Secretary and Consul Arlene Magno, administered the first session on 16 April 2009 on Flower Arrangement, followed by a Basic Vegetable Garnishing session on 21 May 2009 through the ingenuity and volunteerism of Embassy staff Remedios Landicho. END.
