Per advice received from the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines, individuals or organizations overseas who wish to support the relief efforts for the Zamboanga crisis or Bohol earthquake may remit their monetary donations to the following agencies.

Donors are requested to indicate to whom they wish their funds to benefit (i.e., Zamboanga crisis or Bohol earthquake).

The public may wish to be advised of the following latest situationer from the NDRRMC (as of October 21) on the effects of the 7.2 magnitude earthquake that hit Bohol, Cebu and other provinces:
• the death toll has risen to 190
• 607 injured in Cebu, Bohol, Siquijor, Iloilo and Negros Oriental, while 11 are still missing in Bohol
• 3,003,001 people in 1,339 villages were affected, as 380,906 remain displaced
• 45,785 houses were damaged in Bohol, Cebu, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, Iloilo, Syquijor and Guimaras
• 41 bridges and 18 roads were affected
• cost of damages has risen to PHP902.73 million.  (END)
