Information on Activities Related to the Passing of Senator Daniel K. Inouye
Messages for Mrs. Irene Hirano Inouye should be sent to the U.S.-Japan Council DC office at 1819 L Street, NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC 20036. The U.S.-Japan Council staff will make sure that Mrs. Inouye and the Senator's family receive all messages.
Friends and colleagues who wish to send messages directly to Senator Inouye's Office are asked to direct all mail and inquiries to his DC Office at the following address:

In Lieu of Flowers
A memorial fund has been established at the Hawaii Community Foundation to honor the memory of U.S. Senator Daniel K Inouye, and to support organizations and causes the Senator has supported over the years. For details: www.hawaiicommunityfoundation.org.
Memorial Services
The Senator will be Lying in State on Thursday, Dec. 20 at the Capitol Rotunda. The public viewing will begin at 12pm.
The funeral service is this Friday, December 21 at the National Cathedral at 10:30am. The National Cathedral will not accept flowers of any kind – they do not allow it at the venue.
There will also be a memorial service in Honolulu at the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific on Sunday, December 23rd at 10 a.m.
