During an official visit to Oregon State on 07-10 August 2008, Ambassador Willy C. Gaa took the opportunity to highlight recent Philippine economic gains, and to promote the Philippines as a prime investment destination and as a gateway for expanding business in Southeast Asia to various leaders and representatives of the Filipino American, business and investment community in Oregon and Southwest Washington State.
